Welcome to the 2012 redesign of my blog!
I’ve been ready for a redesign for a while now. It was also overdue to switch over to a responsive theme. Ready for any screen size!
With this update, I’m formalizing my portfolio…cough…finally. It contains photography work right now and will have marketing work too.

It’s been a while since I’ve last written but I’m finally back. I went a month without a computer at home. Thanks, dead video card. In my time away, I’ve caught up on much desired studying, playing outside and shooting photos.
In the past two months, I’ve read Consequential Strangers, jumped into Made To Stick, listened to dozens of podcasts, discovered new podcasts, met Tim Sanders at a Social Media Club event, went to a conference, bought a new camera, shot lots of photos and spent quality time with family and friends.
Photo page is getting an update soon.
I was sitting around Saturday not doing a whole lot and all of a sudden I got an idea. I think I was thinking about those white boards and chalk boards in the office cafeteria or on the front door of a particular restaurant. Anyone that wants to can walk up, grab a marker or piece of chalk and write a message or make a doodle. It’s fun!
So I was thinking that it could be cool to do something like that with Twitter. So the next hour was spent creating a few necessary accounts, creating a logo, setting up a Tumblr and priming the account. And so here it is!
My first thought about what people might post was that tweets could be signed using their handle. Folks can also follow themselves if they want. I’m excited to see what happens!
It’ll be interesting to see how long it goes before the password and/or email gets changed…

Peter, Randy and I skated up to the stairs from the parking lot and discussed tricks that had gone down recently and that we would never think about doing otherwise. On a side note, the little gap on the top stair over grass to the sidewalk is now Continue reading “Episode 7 | Sunday Skate”
