What’s Your ROW? (Return on Waste)

Wasting Time

How can you stop employees from wasting time while on the clock?

I read a post two days ago criticizing the criticism of social media. The initial complaint is that people waste too much time on social networks during work hours. On average, employees spend up to two hours on non-work related activities such as e-mail, walks, chats with social networking coming in first place. Companies restrict usage at the office in order to battle this habit (it can’t be a coincidence that Facebook mobile is huge now).

I hope I’m not being too optimistic in saying that I don’t think wasted time on social media is completely a waste for several reasons:
